- How is the fee charged?
- PayF charges in basis points (bps) on each settled transaction. 1 bps = 0.01%. The default 50 bps means $5 per $10,000 settled. Sandbox is entirely free.
- Are multi-leg routes charged per leg?
- No. PayF charges once per transaction regardless of how many legs the routing engine uses. Multi-leg routing is a network-internal implementation detail and is transparent to billing.
- What about refunds and partial settlements?
- Fees are charged only on the actually-settled amount. Full refunds reverse the original fee; partial refunds reverse pro rata.
- Does PayF take custody of funds?
- Never. PayF is the routing layer between licensed counterparties. Funds settle directly between issuers and merchants — PayF never touches money.
- Can I get volume-based pricing?
- Yes. Under the Live tier, volume tiers are negotiated above $1M monthly settled volume. Above $5M monthly we recommend the Enterprise path directly.
- Which currencies and stablecoins are supported?
- Currently integrating: USDC, USDT, PYUSD, FDUSD, USDP, XSGD, EURC, TUSD across compliant issuers. New issuers added regularly.
- Are there any setup fees, minimums, or custody fees?
- None. PayF charges only when you successfully settle. No monthly fee, no minimums, no custody charges.
- Can I try the real environment before signing?
- Yes. Sandbox credentials are issued on application; the sandbox is API-identical to production. Run the full flow first, then switch to Live when you're ready.
